Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, detail-minded Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fulfilling orders for eyeglass frames, optical lenses, and eyewear accessories.
Because optical products are small, delicate, and high-volume, success in this role comes down to speed, accuracy, and careful handling. Whether you are picking designer frames, staging optical supplies for laboratory finishing, or packing customer shipments, your work ensures people get the vision care products they rely on.
salary: $17 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Order Picking & Assembly: Locate and pick specific eyeglass frames, contact lenses, and optical components using barcode scanners and pick tickets.
- Receiving & Sorting: Unpack, inspect, and count incoming shipments of frames, raw lenses, and accessories; verify shipments against purchase orders.
- Packaging & Shipping: Securely pack optical goods using appropriate protective wrap to prevent scratches or breakage during transit; print shipping labels via standard carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Inventory Control: Organize inventory shelves, conduct routine cycle counts, and report stock discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Dock & Equipment Operations: Maintain a clean, organized work station; operate manual pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks safely.
